**Job Purpose / Basic Function**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop accurate and clear cost estimates based on project data.
- Performs cost analysis such as preparing and analyzing costing for tenders to assist in anticipating project costs.
- Conducts feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs for projects.
- Assists in developing techniques/strategies to expedite the overall process of tendering starting from quantity surveying to completing the Estimation Sheets.
- Performs site visits and gather necessary information such as accessibility, availability of electricity and services.
- Negotiate and prepare bids for tenders.
- Good experience in quoting governmental projects specially ASGHAL.
- Provide estimates for projects, including negotiating schedule of rates with selected Builders and then historical data of tendered prices on all projects for evaluation and assists in forecasting future costs including updating of the estimating database.
- Provide technical guidance for estimator in generating cost estimates and interpreting gathered information.
- Coordinate with tendering department staff to schedule project costs, resources and quantities as required and prepare tender prices.
- Communicate with external entities such as subcontractors / suppliers to prepare cost estimates by gathering cost related information as needed.
- Must have experienced in commercial and technical submission
- Perform all the other tasks assigned by Technical Manager within the capacity of Role.

**Qualifications**:

- BSc Degree in Civil Engineering from a Recognized University
