We are looking for a **proactive and committed HSE Officer** to ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance across our project sites in Qatar. If you have experience working with QatarEnergy standards, QCS 2014, and international HSE frameworks like ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:
**Health, Safety & Environmental Monitoring**
- Enforce HSE Plan, risk assessments, and method statements across the site
- Conduct daily inspections to eliminate hazards and ensure compliance
- Monitor PPE usage, permit-to-work systems, and site safety measures
- Oversee high-risk activities like lifting, confined space entry, hot works, and excavations

**Incident Management & Reporting**
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Maintain safety records, first aid logs, and toolbox talk attendance
- Support the HSE Manager in preparing investigation and incident reports

**Training & Awareness**
- Conduct HSE induction for workers, subcontractors, and visitors
- Deliver toolbox talks, emergency drills, and safety awareness campaigns
- Foster a proactive safety culture through engagement and open reporting

**Compliance & Coordination**
- Ensure site adherence to QatarEnergy, QCS 2014, and client-specific HSE requirements
- Liaise with client HSE representatives and participate in coordination meetings
- Assist with ISO audits, environmental management, and sustainability practices

**Documentation & Recordkeeping**
- Maintain logs of PTWs, safety inspections, checklists, and MSDS files
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly safety performance reports
- Ensure document readiness for audits and HSE reviews

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline
- **NEBOSH IGC Certification** (mandatory)
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction or oil & gas projects (3-5 years in GCC or Qatar preferred)
- Strong understanding of **QCS 2014**, **QatarEnergy HSE regulations**, and **ISO 45001 / ISO 14001**:

- Proficient in **MS Office** and basic HSE management systems
- Strong observation, communication, and safety reporting skills

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
