Fleet Dispatcher Job Duties

Fleet dispatchers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

- Communicating with drivers about their current location, estimated time of arrival at the next destination, and any delays that may occur
- Monitoring traffic patterns and adjusting dispatch routes as needed to ensure efficient delivery of goods
- Coordinating with local law enforcement regarding traffic conditions during high-traffic times such as rush hour
- Maintaining company vehicle fleets by performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and replacing filters
- Maintaining records for all shipments, including pickup and delivery times and locations, shipping methods, and carriers used
- Ensuring safety by monitoring driver behavior and adherence to safety policies, as well as maintaining driver logs
- Scheduling repairs and maintenance services for company vehicles, including arranging pickup and delivery of vehicles to repair shops
- Communicating with dispatch supervisors regarding issues that may require immediate attention such as accidents or breakdowns
- Preparing reports on daily activities and statistics to managers

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
