QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications:

- BS degree in Computer Science. Similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
- RHCE 8/9 Certified. (Red Hat Certified)
- Ansible Hand on Experience
- YAML / Bash Shell Scripting

Optional Qualification:

Required Experience:

- Minimum 6 years of proven work experience as a Linux Engineer/Administrator.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on Containerization technologies.
- Working knowledge of event, incident & problem management processes and tools.

KEY COMPETENCIES
- Experience to handle Redhat/Oracle Linux Operating System ( Version 8/9).
- Experience in Redhat Satellite/Linux Operation Manager.
- Experience in Ansible / Ansible Tower
- Experience in working on containerization technologies like Docker, Podman.
- Expert in any of the languages Shell Scripting, YAML or Python.
- Knowledge on VMware Virtualization Infrastructure.
- Knowledge on Enterprise Middleware Experience like WebLogic, Tomcat, JBOSS EAP, JBOSS FUSE, and Apache.
- Good understanding of Load Balancing technologies (Nginx, HAproxy etc.)
- Experience with TCP/IP & general networking principles.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITES

Essential Functions:

- AWX/Ansible Tower Administration (Red Hat) /Linux Automation Manager (From Oracle )
- Install, configure, and maintain AWX/Ansible Tower infrastructure.
- Design and implement automation workflows and playbooks using Ansible.
- Manage inventory, variables, and job templates in AWX/Ansible Tower.
- Hands on experience on YML to automate daily process
- Experience with TCP/IP & general networking principles
- Manage Volume Management on UNIX systems (lvm, zfs, nfs, raid, package management, performance tuning, kernel tuning) and managing the systems to ensure meet the SLA.
- Expertize with Good hands on experience in Dockers, Dockers Swarm, Kubernetes Orchestration Platform.
- Well versed in latest tools and technologies to support DEVOPS methodologies and framework.
- Managing Apache, Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, Nagios Application and providing the support.
- Perform annual DR Failover and failback for VMware Infrastructure servers using VMware site recovery Manager and Unix Physical Servers using SAN Replication.
- Familiarity with Business Continuity Planning
- Storage Allocation and Migration with different EMC Storage systems
- Oracle RAC server build and clustering Configuration and managing the systems and performing regular health checks.
- Managing and handling various tools on Linux (Splunk, NetBackup, tomcat, apache, JBOSS EAP etc.)
- Working on Data Center related activities, coordinating with vendor for any hardware replacement or installing new devices and on Hardware in DC.
- Handle hardware issues for disk, memory, CPU, NIC, HBA and coordinating with vendor to fix it with in the SLA.
- Hardening the System based on CIS benchmark and ensure meeting as per InfoSec standards.
- Identify manual task and automate of the daily activities using bash/awk shell, python scripting
- Debugging issues and provide permanent fix to maintain stable environment.
- Performing ON-call support on production environment to ensure maintain and meet the SLA.
