Shuttering Carpenter

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

• Read and interpret construction drawings and formwork plans.
• Measure, cut, and assemble formwork systems using hand and power tools.
• Install and align formwork for concrete structures such as columns, walls, slabs, and beams.
• Ensure shuttering is level, secure, and follows correct dimensions and safety standards.
• Dismantle formwork after concrete has cured and prepare for reuse.
• Follow instructions from site supervisors and civil engineers.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Comply with safety regulations and use PPE at all times.
• Report any defects, damages, or unsafe conditions immediately.

**Requirements**

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a shuttering/formwork carpenter.
• Experience with both traditional wood and modular systems (e.g., Peri, Doka).
• Basic ability to read construction drawings and follow technical instructions.
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy-duty work under site conditions.
• Must adhere strictly to site safety protocols.
• Previous experience in **Ras Laffan or other oil & gas projects** is an advantage.

**Preferred**

• Familiarity with reinforced concrete structures and high-rise building works.
• Knowledge of scaffolding and basic steel fixing (optional).
• Valid RLIC gate pass or RLIC work experience (preferred but not mandatory).

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR1,650.00 per month
