We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Counter Clerk to join our dynamic laundry team. As a Counter Clerk, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service while assisting customers with their laundry needs. You will ensure smooth operations at the front counter, manage customer transactions, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all visitors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Receive and process laundry items from customers, ensuring correct identification and labeling.
- Weigh laundry and provide pricing information.
- Handle customer payments, including cash, card transactions, and digital payments.
- Keep track of customers' laundry items and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
- Inform customers of expected pickup times and any special instructions for their laundry.
- Answer customer questions regarding services, pricing, or laundry procedures.
- Maintain an organized and tidy counter area, keeping laundry bags, order slips, and customer details in order.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, such as detergent, fabric softener, and hangers.
- Communicate with laundry staff to ensure smooth coordination of laundry orders.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate to management when needed.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, such as filing and record keeping of customer orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards throughout the laundry area.
