**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**
- Responsible for all F&B event-related accounting processes and overseeing vault operations.
- Prepare Profit and Loss report.
- Helps ensure that cash handling procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with SMG policies.
- Manages accounts payable and vendor relations
- Reconciles and processes volunteer group commissions and 3rd party payments
- Prepares customer billings and posts F&B sales.
- Posts journal entries as required and maintain clean supporting backup
- Uses Quest software to verify accuracy of inventory
- Assists the Finance Director and Food & Beverage Director in the creation of monthly reporting packages, F&B forecasting, budgeting, and various ad hoc analyses
- Works with external auditors in verifying financial information/procedures and preparation of audit materials.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university

Minimum 2 years accounting experience

Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 2 years accounting experience

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting practices
- Familiarity of inventory cost control preferred
- Knowledge of the Food and Beverage field is preferred
- Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
