**Department**
MM/BH REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

**Primary purpose of job**
Responsible for leading OV Disciplines Engineers, Disciplines Technicians in coordination with Project Team and

Contractors to ensure consistent and standardized execution of commissioning and start-up activities for Operational Area

(VO) Projects in accordance with approved QatarEnergy Procedures, Guidelines, Engineering Design, Safety &
Environmental Standards/Specifications and Scope of Work to ensure that:
Operational Area Asset Owners are fully ready to assume ownership of the asset at the point of delivery/handover, and that

they can operate and maintain that asset in a safe, reliable, and sustainable manner.

**Experience & Skills**
1. Minimum of 15 years’ experience in design, commissioning, start-up and operations of oil & gas processing and

production facilities (Onshore/Offshore), preferably with International reputable Oil & Gas Operating Company with at least

8 years as commissioning engineer position.

2. Exposure with Project, Engineering and EPIC contracting companies is an added advantage.

3. Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

4. Relevant technical expertise. Multi-discipline engineering exposure with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

5. Good IT and analytical skills with the ability to work well under pressure.

**Education**
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering Discipline preferably Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering. Chartered Engineer
status or equivalent is preferable.
