As a receptionist at our esteemed dental center in Qatar, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a warm and professional welcome to all individuals entering the facility. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and facilitating smooth operations within the center.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Greet patients, visitors, and clients with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
3. Schedule appointments accurately, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and minimizing wait times for patients.
4. Verify patient information and insurance details, updating records as necessary.
5. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient handling of inquiries.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring a tidy and professional environment.
7. Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
8. Handle cash transactions, collect co-payments, and provide receipts as needed.
9. Follow established protocols for patient confidentiality and data protection.
10. Stay updated on clinic policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to patients and visitors.
11. Collaborate with other team members to uphold high standards of customer service and patient care.
12. Handle any complaints or concerns from patients with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
**Requirements**:
1. Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a medical setting.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and preferably Arabic.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
6. Empathetic and compassionate demeanor, with a focus on patient satisfaction.
7. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
8. Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
9. Qatar residency permit or valid work visa.
10. High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional certification in customer service or administration is advantageous.
