**About the role**

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all warehouse operations which includes all stock receipts are unloaded, palletized, racked and available for sale within the shortest time possible and all transfer are completed on scheduled and cost effective manner. Also, responsible for ensuring all these activities are carried out in accordance with com an SOP's
- Responsible for working closely with Line Manager for scheduling container unloading in all QDC locations to ensure sufficient level of resources are available for timely unloading of containers in DIA warehouse
- Proper and prompt recording of stock receipts according to the Good Inward Note so that the system is up to-date and stocks are available for transfer as quickly as possible.
- Close liaison and follow-up with Line Manager with regards to forward plans for container receipts and transfers to ensure adequate resources are organized and team are fully briefed according to company priorities.
- Proper and prompt recording & reporting of damages, shortages and excess on receipt so that appropriate action can be taken.
- Proper stacking and racking of products in line with company guidelines to ensure highest safety of staffs and products maintained at all time
- Proper storage of frozen foods ensuring that correct temperatures are maintained at all times in order to maintain highest quality of products
- Responsible for proper pallet labelling on arrival and correct batches transferring to shop location in order to minimise stock losses from expiry problems
- Submission of weekly expiry report to Warehouse Officer, review of consolidated expiry report to ensure the team is promptly following the FEFO (First Expiry First Out) method on stock depletion
- Record accurate wine vintages on receipt and timely reporting of any incorrect batches to Warehouse Officer for further review and appropriate actions
- Supervise performance of 3rd party security guards in DIA location to ensure highest security of stocks are maintained and prompt reporting when deviations noticed
- Implementation of health & safety guidelines to minimize risks of injury to employees and damage to stock or company assets.
- Provide prompt and accurate data for regular expiry date reports and ad hoc expiry date enquiries as and when required.
- Supervision & proper recording of timely maintenance activities of warehouse handling equipment's in DIA location to ensure all equipment's are fully operational at all time
- Regular review of activities in DIA warehouse to ensure all receiving, quality & quantity checking, put-away and stock rotation / deletion activities are in accordance with com an SOP

**Qualifications**

**About you**
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualificationEnglish communication skills with Entry level roles
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience

Job skills:

- Insert practical and technical knowledge needed including management skills
- Must be numerate and computer literate.
- Should be aware of industry standards for climate control, stacking and storage for this type of product. Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
- Knowledge of Inventory Management ( Ex. FIFO method)
- Working Knowledge of Navision and MS Office. Excellent spoken & written English
