TRADING RISK & FINANCE

**Primary purpose of job**
Supporting the growth of its LNG and derivatives trading business, QatarEnergy Trading (QET) is looking for a highly

motivated, analytically minded individual to join its Risk & Finance team.

role in communicating market risk taken to QET and Group stakeholders, whilst also implementing the controls required to

manage it.

**Experience & Skills**:

- 8+ years of relevant work experience in Commodity/Energy trading, either directly within or in a key role supporting a Risk

and/or Finance Team
- Knowledge of the typical trade lifecycle for physical LNG, Oil or other waterborne commodities, as well as typical

derivatives used to hedge it (e.g., OTC Swaps, Cleared Swaps and Futures)
- Commodity trade valuation and price risk exposure calculation. Similarly, evaluating and explaining the VaR of such

trading positions is also a necessity,
- Experience in working with Trading Risk Management systems and their valuations and exposure outputs.
- Proven communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, able to take complete ownership and finish tasks to tight timelines

**Education**
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or

equivalent numerical/financial discipline, from an internationally recognized university.
