**Job Description: Sales Representative**

**Reports To**

The Sales Representative will report to the Business Development Manager.

**Working Relationships**

Managing Partner, Food Safety Consultants, Planning & Client Support Team

**Job Overview**

At Abundant, we offer honest, jargon free, practical food safety advice that is affordable for any business, regardless of size. Our goal is to be a driving force towards food safety in Qatar.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Build relationships with new and existing clients to drive business and increase revenue.
- Form new and continue existing relationships with companies by visiting them in person, maintain phone contact and address issues or problems when they come up.
- Maintain a strong understanding about services and offerings to answer specific client questions.
- Present information about company services and offering during industry events to potential clients.
- Create new methods or strategies to help the sales team reach monthly goals to increase company profitability.
- Give clients in-person presentations and teach them about the services and their benefits.
- Attend weekly team meetings and provide information to management about sales figures, goals, and challenges.
- Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices.
- Become a valuable and helpful resource in all your dealings with clients and create a friendly reputation in the industry.
- Manage company and client expectations.
- Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.
- Cultivate positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders and managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results.
- Research the market and industry trends.

**Qualifications**
- Three or more years of experience in sales or customer service.
- Understand sales process and dynamics.
- Goal-oriented, organized team player.
- Outgoing and personable.
- Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (bilingual/multilingual an asset).
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in Food, restaurant and Beverage industry an asset.
- Able to work independently and act decisively within the boundaries of the position.
- Able to maintain a positive attitude, create and maintain effective working relationships.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to communicate policies, services, and promotions effectively with clients and to represent the company positively in the community.
- Has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or industry related field.
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Able to prepare and deliver presentations, reports, checklists, and other necessary food safety-related documentation.

**General Terms and Conditions**
- Abide by employee confidentiality agreement/ non-disclosure agreement.
- The position allows the employee to work from home when applicable.
- The position is part-time; employee required to work 20-25 hours per week; some flexibility is expected as to what constitutes the working week and hours to meet operational requirements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week
