**Environmental Engineering Intern**

**Qatar, Doha**

Parsons offers an internship program and is seeking highly motivated **students specialized in Environmental Engineering.**Our interns are gaining hands-on experience, expanding their knowledge, and growing their network during their time with as us, as well as receiving access to events for their professional development and curated mentorship. **What you'll be doing**:

- Assist project senior engineers in conducting research and gathering baseline environmental data (e.g., ecological resources, air quality, noise levels, water quality, socio-economic data) through literature reviews, database searches, and potentially assisting with field data collection planning.
- Support the analysis and interpretation of environmental data under the guidance of senior staff.
- Assist in drafting specific sections of EIA reports, technical memos, and related documentation.
- Help prepare figures, maps, and tables for inclusion in reports and presentations.
- Assist in researching relevant local, regional, and national environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to infrastructure projects.
- Support the team in identifying potential environmental impacts associated with proposed projects and researching potential mitigation measures.
- Participate in team meetings, take meeting minutes, and provide general project support as needed.
- Assist with document management, formatting, and quality control checks.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program and in pursuit of a degree in Environmental Engineering.
- Must have a strong academic record and coursework relevant to the internship position.
