**Your day-to-day**:

- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing meat and poultry deliveries.
- Ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO) and monitor product shelf life.
- Prepare basic cuts of meat and poultry under guidance.
- Portion and label meats according to specifications or customer orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all butchery areas.
- Assist in minimizing meat wastage and using trimmings effectively.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize knives, equipment, and workstations regularly.
- Support senior butchers or chefs during busy periods.
- Assist in inventory counts and restocking supplies.

**What we need from you**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years of previous kitchen or butchery experience is an advantage in Hotels and Restaurants
- Basic knife-handling skills
- Must be able to deal with quality control, production control, meat and fish storage
- Excellent communication skills
- Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Strongly committed to teamwork and customer service
