Located in the heart of Doha Old Town, Kimpton Al Rowda Doha will be the first Kimpton in the Middle East bringing the brand’s playful energy, infectious personality, and unique design style to this charming and vibrant area of town. Just a stone’s throw from the many favorite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options.
**Your day to day**
As Duty Engineer, you will report to the Director of Engineering ordelegate and you will be responsible for supporting the engineering team ensuringthat the engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel,including general property maintenance, are functioning properly and up to thehotels operating standards. You are also responsible to keep all equipment ingood repair and providing day-to-day maintenance support to the hotel.Additionally, work towards and support the improvement of engineering service to guests,other departments and colleagues.
**What we need from you**
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technically related fields - 4 to 6 years’ experience in hotel maintenance experience, including supervisory or team leading roles - Strong English communication skills - Strong knowledge of general maintenance - Luxury and lifestyle experience is an advantage - Pre-Opening experience is an advantage
