Elv Planning Engineer

**Job Summary**:
The ELV Planning Engineer is responsible for planning and coordinating all activities related to Extra-Low Voltage systems in construction projects. This includes the design, implementation, and management of ELV systems such as security systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV systems, Audio-Visual systems, PA/BGM Systems, Intercom Systems, Gate Barriers & Speed Gate Systems, etc. The ELV Planning Engineer collaborates with project teams to ensure that ELV systems are integrated effectively and meet the project requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. System Design and Planning**:
Ø Develop detailed system designs and plans for ELV systems based on project requirements and specifications.

Ø Coordinate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives and design constraints.

Ø Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for ELV systems.

Ø Conduct site surveys to assess existing infrastructure and determine system implementation strategies.

**2. Project Coordination**:
Ø Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure timely and accurate implementation of ELV systems.

Ø Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to procure necessary equipment and materials.

Ø Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams during system deployment.

Ø Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to ensure project milestones are met.

**3. Quality Assurance**:
Ø Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure that ELV systems are installed and commissioned in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Ø Perform testing and troubleshooting of ELV systems to identify and rectify any performance issues.

Ø Ensure that all documentation, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and test reports, are properly maintained.

**4. Technical Support and Training**:
Ø Provide technical support to clients, project teams, and end-users regarding ELV systems.

Ø Conduct training sessions for project teams and end-users on the operation and maintenance of ELV systems.

Ø Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies related to ELV systems.

**Qualifications**:
v Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.

v Proven experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably with a focus on ELV systems.

v Strong knowledge of Extra-Low Voltage systems such as structured cabling, Access Control Systems, CCTV systems, Audio-Visual systems, PA/BGM Systems, Intercom Systems, Gate Barriers & Speed Gate Systems.

v Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software for creating technical drawings and layouts.

v Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Oracle Primavera software.

v Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations such as MOI-SSD regulations for CCTV systems, Qatar Construction Specifications - QCS 2014, Ashghal standards & regulations, etc.

v Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

v Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

v Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

v Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR7,000.00 per month
