Food & Beverage Coordinator - Wyndham Grand Doha

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Food & Beverage Coordinator to join our team at Wyndham Grand Doha West Bay Beach in Doha, Qatar.

**Job Summary**:
The Food & Beverage Coordinator will contribute to the performance of the hotel by handling all Food & Beverage requests:

- Prepare presentation and other documents required for the Food & Beverage Manager and the department.
- Work in close relation with all the Department Heads.
- Assist the Outlet Managers in all actions plans and training programs when as required.
- Prepare monthly, weekly Food & Beverage reports and outlet promotions.
- Coordinate and design F&B menus, name/food tags and signage for all F&B outlets and events.
- In charge of the administration and F&B reservation office.
- In charge of guest loyalty program
- Over the phone sales of the dining outlets.
- Monthly training the restaurant hostess standards and reservations.

**Education & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 plus years related experience minimum and/or training in an office environment (Hotel experience is an advantage)

**Physical Requirements**:

- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags.
- Comply with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

**Fundamental Requirements**:

- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Answers telephone, take messages or directs calls and places outgoing calls. Internally covers department phones during meetings and employee absences
- Operates office equipment such as copiers, calculators and personal computers. May maintain office supplies and ensure the maintenance of office equipment
- Greets and directs walk-in traffic.
- Performs general clerical duties as needed such as processing mail, filing, alphabetizing records, and completing forms and reports
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
