**Department**
OPERATED OFFSHORE OIL FIELD DEVELOPMENT

**Primary purpose of job**
Plan, supervise, coordinate, and control the collection, analysis, and evaluation of Geophysical data for reservoirs studies to

generate appropriate field development plans.

Provide high level quality geophysical support for QatarEnergy Idd El-Shargi field and participate in interdisciplinary

reservoir study teams.

Provide ad hoc support to Reservoir Management Teams for well proposals/prognoses preparation when needed. Perform

geo-hazard analysis for well planning and estimate the risk level using the geophysical data

**Experience & Skills**:

- 15 - 20 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with at least 10 years’ experience on conducting Geophysical
risk assessment related to studies/operations.
- Very strong experience in 2D/3D seismic interpretation of carbonate reservoirs in Middle East region, seismic

attributes analysis and seismic characterization with different inversion technics.
- Good knowledge of carbonate geology/structural geological principles.
- Strong knowledge of borehole seismic acquisition, processing, and interpretation.

- Must have strong teamwork skills. Experience working in a multicultural and integrated asset team environment is a

plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, less experienced staff, field staff, and Management.
- Must have very strong experience/knowledge of Petrel and other current computer software for geophysical

**Education**:

- Minimum of a BSc in Geophysics is required.
- Advanced degree will be a plus.
