**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Daily Bookkeeping & Cash Reconciliation**
- Record all daily sales, purchases, expenses, and banking transactions.
- Monitor and reconcile daily cash inflows and outflows for all branches.
- Review customer advances and balances and ensure all supporting documents are in order.
**2. Weekly Financial Close**
- Prepare weekly profit and loss statements for each branch.
- Track gold and jewellery stock balances in coordination with the operations and sales teams.
- Reconcile supplier statements and validate outstanding payables.
**3. Monthly Reporting & Analysis**
- Prepare the trial balance and month-end closing reports.
- Generate consolidated monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
- Conduct variance analysis vs. budget, sales trends, and inventory turnover.
- Highlight discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
**4. Systems, ERP & Internal Controls**
- Maintain accuracy and structure of the ERP (WinGold Next or equivalent).
- Define clear user roles, data permissions, and workflows.
- Ensure internal controls for stock transfers, customer advances, and expense management.
**5. Regulatory & External Compliance**
- Prepare audit-ready financial statements and support external audits.
- Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with Qatari commercial and tax law.
**6. Others**
- Other tasks as assigned by the management.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 to 4 years of proven experience in financial accounting, preferably in jewellery, or precious metals.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluency in English languages is mandatory; Arabic language is a plus.
- **Location**: Must currently reside in Qatar and be available for immediate interviews.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skill and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
- Working knowledge of ERP software (WinGold, QuickBooks, or similar).
- High attention to detail, reliability, and confidentiality.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple reporting tasks.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
