**DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULTANT** is looking for **Senior Highway Design Engineer**in **Doha-Qatar**

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree** in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- **Minimum 18 years** of relevant experience in highway/road design.
- **MMUP/UPDA Certification** (mandatory).
- **Chartered Engineer (CEng)** or **Professional Engineer (PE)** certification (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of highway design standards such as AASHTO, Ashghal standards, and local codes.
- Proficient in design software such as Civil 3D, MX Road, InRoads, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Must be **locally available in Qatar**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the design of complex highway and roadway infrastructure projects from concept through detailed design and construction support.
- Review and supervise the preparation of design drawings, calculations, BOQs, specifications, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, design codes, and client requirements (e.g., Ashghal standards).
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, drainage, and traffic engineers.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Participate in project meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate design implementation and resolve issues.
- Ensure that design deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
