**Overview**: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Governance and Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, senior management, and stakeholders to establish effective governance practices that support business objectives and mitigate risks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain IT governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and procedures, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure our IT governance practices remain up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of IT processes, controls, and systems to identify gaps, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
- Implement controls and measures to mitigate risks related to cybersecurity, data privacy, and IT operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate IT audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Provide guidance and support to IT teams on compliance requirements, security policies, and governance principles.
- Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to raise awareness and promote adherence to IT governance and compliance standards across the organization.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders regarding IT governance and compliance initiatives.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- COBIT, ISO certifications are a must
- 5+ years of experience in COBIT/ ISO/ other governance assessment and implementation
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and regulatory requirements
- Experience in conducting IT audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data privacy laws, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Arabic Speakers Preferred.
