Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Chemical Monitoring and Inventory Management
- Monitor, update, and record monthly consumption of chemicals used in the Denim and DWWTP Plant.
- Conduct a comprehensive inventory of all chemicals/reagents, consumables, and parts of laboratory instruments.

2. Daily Laboratory Activities
- Responsible for sampling activities as per defined protocols.
- Perform analysis of in-process and finished product samples, reporting results accurately.
- Assist in the inspection and analysis of non-routine samples.
- Prepare reagent chemicals as required for various analyses.
- Maintain quality records related to laboratory activities.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory housekeeping and safety practices.
- Conduct inventory checks of laboratory chemicals and supplies regularly.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and good housekeeping practices.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Skills and Competencies:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and software for data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.

Working Conditions:

- The position may require working in a laboratory environment with exposure to chemicals.
- Compliance with safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
