**Job Summary**

The IT Change Management Specialist will oversee the change management process and play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, evaluation, implementation, and management of changes within the organization's information technology systems. This position requires close collaboration with IT teams, stakeholders and PMO to reduce risks associated with changes, while improving the efficiency and reliability of IT services. Line managers and supervisors are supported and guided by the change management specialist to help manage their team changes. Similarly, the change management specialist supports project managers and teams integrate change management activities with their project planning.

**Job responsabilities**:

- Develop and implement change management techniques and processes to ensure mínimal impact on service quality.
- Manage all stages of change management lifecycle, including submission, analysis, decision making, implementation, and post-implementation review.
- Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to assess, prioritize, and approve changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with IT governance standards.
- Coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to communicate change plans, status updates, and outcomes, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences).
- Ensure Compliance with ITIL-based Change Management processes and organisational policies
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of changes, including impacts on system performance, user satisfaction, and business processes.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT changes, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Provide guidance and support for emergency changes, while maintaining control and documentation of the process.
- Support and engage senior leaders.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to change management processes and decisions

**Qualifications, Experiences**:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science/ information technology/ business administration, or a related field.

Required Experience and Skills:

- 3- 5 years of experience in IT change management, project management, or a similar role within an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and principles, with ITIL certification preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills.
- Conflict-resolution abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outcomes. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g. Service Now, BMC Remedy) - would be advantageous to have BMC Remedy exposure
