**Department**
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (MES OPERN)

**Primary purpose of job**
To implement industrial hygiene surveys and projects according to corporate programs of

industry best practices.

To study work operations, processes, and projects, and to identify and evaluate Health

Hazards, and provide with advise for effective control of hazards and safeguard of the

health and well being of employees.

To conduct research to advance knowledge concerning the adverse effects of chemical,

physical, biological, and mechanical agents upon health and recommends means of

preventing occupational health impairment

To conduct programs for the education of employees in the prevention of Occupational

diseases and nuisance.

To work together with the Occupational Health department, Safety and Environmental

professionals in conducting studies in the operational area.

**Experience & Skills**
Attended courses in Occupational Safety.

Professional certification from international recognized organization preferred (CIH ROH etc designations)

Over 12 yeas in the Oil and Petrochemical Industry, with a wide background knowledge in process designs, operations,

regulations, standards, and research studied, Inclusive of 3-5 years as Industrial Hygienist in one of the International Oil or

Petrochemical Company.

**Education**
B.Sc. Environmental Health Engineering or equivalent.

M.Sc. Industrial hygiene, Ph.D is preferred.
