Waiter

Responsibilities:

- Order Taking: Accurately and efficiently taking customer orders, ensuring clarity and accuracy. This may involve using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Food and Beverage Service: Promptly delivering food and beverages to customers, ensuring orders are complete and correct. Maintaining awareness of customer needs and addressing any issues quickly.
- Payment Processing: Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently. Balancing the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Table Management: Cleaning and resetting tables promptly after customers leave, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the work area clean and organized, including wiping down tables, counters, and other surfaces. Following all hygiene and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Providing friendly and efficient service to all customers, addressing customer needs and resolving any issues professionally.
- Inventory Management (May Vary): Assisting with restocking supplies as needed.
- Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is preferred but not always required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
- Food handling and hygiene knowledge (may require certification depending on local regulations).

Working Conditions:
