Overall work efforts and responsibilities will involve providing both technical and project management support to a variety of public and private clients throughout the Middle East. Efforts will include varying levels of support related to overall project planning, project development, procurement support, implementation oversight, ongoing performance monitoring, and operational oversight of tolling systems and services. Additional responsibilities include business development, client outreach, proposal preparation support, and other general marketing efforts. As a toll technology expert for a congestion charging project, your role would involve providing specialized expertise and guidance in implementing tolling measures to manage traffic congestion effectively. In addition, you will be involved in reviewing the current technologies available (including camera-based systems and more recent technologies including RFID) for congestion zone vehicle detection for the purposes of charging and enforcement, and recommend the most appropriate technology, taking account the overall objectives of the congestion charging system. You will be part of preparing tender documents for contractors. Overall, as a toll technology expert would involve leveraging your knowledge and experience in tolling systems to contribute to a successful congestion charging project. As a suitable you shall demonstrate strong experience in supporting management and business systems, processes, or services, with a depth of experience in project oversight including technical expertise, project management skills, vendor oversight, project scheduling and budget tracking. You will be required to demonstrate experience in direct client interaction and the ability to foster client relationships. You will be involved in concept design including: - Overall congestion charging solution (architecture, block diagram, data flow). - Technology integration with back-offices systems. - Detector locations. - Structure’s locations. - Telecommunication design. - Identify the updates required to the existing tolling regulations. - Concept of Operations. - Define the requirements for the proposed congestion charging area implementation. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: At Jacobs, we help prepare people for new opportunities and challenges.
