**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning.
- Mix and match paint colors according to manufacturer specifications or customer requirements.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring smoothness, color accuracy, and finish consistency.
- Perform minor bodywork repairs as needed before painting.
- Maintain paint booths, spray guns, and related equipment in clean working condition.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations in the paint shop.
- Ensure all jobs are completed within the estimated time frame and meet company quality standards.
- Assist in inventory control for paint materials and consumables.
- Coordinate with estimators, body technicians, and workshop supervisors for job completion.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- High school diploma or technical certificate in automotive painting or refinishing.
- Minimum **3-5 years of experience** as an Auto Painter in an authorized dealership or reputed workshop.
- Knowledge of modern paint systems (water-based, solvent-based, metallic, etc.).
- Experience with color matching and blending techniques.
- Familiar with safety procedures related to painting and handling chemicals.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Good color vision and ability to identify paint variations.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of paint booth ventilation and environmental safety standards.

**Preferred**:

- Experience with premium automotive brands (e.g., Nissan, Cheverlot, Honda, Toyota, etc.)
- Certification in Automotive Refinishing or Paint Technology.
- Knowledge of computerized color-matching systems.
