**job Objective**:
To ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard offshore vessels or platforms in compliance with safety and marine regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain all electrical and electronic systems onboard (including power generation, distribution, lighting, navigation, communication, and control systems).
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical faults and automation equipment.
- Monitor and maintain dynamic positioning (DP) systems, switchboards, UPS systems, and control panels.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance logs, equipment status, and safety checks.
- Assist in planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with Chief Engineer and technical team regarding equipment issues and system upgrades.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations and environmental standards, including SOLAS, MARPOL, and company HSE policies.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong technical knowledge of marine electrical systems and automation.
- Proficient in diagnostics tools and software.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Awareness of offshore safety protocols and emergency procedures.

**Educational & Certification Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics/Marine Engineering.
- Valid STCW Electro-Technical Officer Certification (Reg. III/6).
- DP maintenance certification (preferred for DP vessels).
- Offshore survival (BOSIET/FOET), HUET, and medical fitness certificate.
