1. Patient handling at the reception.

2. Assist in handling specimens to be stored or transported to reference laboratories.

3. Determine and approve the correct specimen requirements, criteria of acceptability or rejection.

4. Assure that all quality controls, quality assurance requirements and established guidelines as per Lab, Department or section.

5. Observe safety policies, universal precautions and hazardous material management and waste policies.

6. Oversee the routine patient test performance, including, as applicable, patient identification and preparation; and specimen collection, handling, processing and testing.

7. Review all the recording and reporting of test results, including, as applicable, reporting critical results.

8. Review of intermediate test results or worksheets, quality control records, proficiency testing results, and preventive maintenance records.

9. Direct observation of performance of instrument maintenance and function checks.

10. Assess test performance through testing previously analysed specimens, internal blind testing specimens or external proficiency testing specimens.

11. Assure that all lab protocol to perform laboratory tests and correctly log the results of those tests.

12. Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues that may arise with the laboratory equipment.

13. Assure that verification of all test results and ensure that they are correctly matched with the specimen.

14. Operate, calibrate and conduct performance checks on clinical laboratory equipment as per section guidelines.

15. Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating, and identifying microorganisms for analysis

16. Examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities

17. Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found

18. Perform skin test for Mantoux test to confirm Pulmonary Tuberculosis
- Responsible of Marketing Tasks
- Responsible of stock system
- Responsible of Quality procedures
- Participate in continuous education - CME & CE as offered by MOPH
- Understand/ implement AJMS established policies and procedures related to safety, dress code, cleanliness, infection control, waste management and exposure control plan as per the AJMS PP Manuals; or related to ISO, CAP, JCI and in compliance with local MOPH regulations, Labor law, Safety Rules & regulations

**Minimum 6 years experience is mandatory**

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
