**Responsibilities**

**Technical responsibilities**
- Utilize diagnostic tools, visual inspections, and testing procedures to identify mechanical,
- electrical, and technical problems in vehicles accurately.
- Perform diverse repairs, including engine overhauls, brake system repairs, transmission servicing,suspension work, exhaust system repairs, and other mechanical tasks.
- Remove and replace faulty components such as belts, filters, spark plugs, hoses, and other parts.
- Install new components following manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter
- replacements to prevent potential issues and ensure vehicle longevity.
- Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to interface with a vehicle''s onboard systems, retrieve error codes, and analyze data for accurate problem identification.

- Utilize welding and fabrication skills to repair or strengthen vehicle structures and parts as
- required.

- Diagnose and rectify electrical system problems, including wiring issues, lighting malfunctions,starter and alternator failures, and battery concerns.

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of formal automotive technology training or
- apprenticeship is advantageous.

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, garage equipment, and computerized systems.

**General responsibilities**
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with potentially hazardous
- materials, heavy machinery, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate effectively with other mechanics, technicians, and garage staff to ensure smooth
- operations and the delivery of high-quality services.
- Proficient mechanical aptitude and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills for interactions with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a cohesive team member
- Valid Qatar driving license
