We are looking for an **Installation Engineer** for one of our clients with the following details:
**Start date: 01-MAY-2025**

**End Date: 30-NOV-2026**

**Location: Doha**

**Work status: Resident, Single**

ACTIVITIES
- To adopt and prove an exemplary behaviour regarding H3SE, to implement H3SE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility and to ensure that required H3SE competencies are within his area of responsibilities.
- To identify, implement and manage all necessary engineering external studies related to Flowlines.
- To supervise and control the detailed engineering of Flowlines by timely reviewing / validating the documentation issued by Contractor(s) and Vendor(s) (technical documentation / queries / derogation requests...), in compliance with SOR, COMPANY General Specifications, Project Contractual technical requirements, and international norms and standards, with the objective to ensure respect of schedule, costs, quality and safety. Raise consequently necessary comments and highlight unsafe design, deviations, unacceptable / unjustified design choices, constructability issues... Ensures follow-up / review / validation of progress performed by Contractor(s) and Vendor(s) in his discipline and analyses/reports drifts that could occur and propose remedial solution
- To ensure that QHSE issues and requirements are correctly handled and met in all the Flowlines technical documents.
- To actively interface (internally) with Installation Lead and lead engineers from Head Quarters as necessary on all engineering, procurement, constructability, commissioning, operability and maintainability matters, to ensure consistency of the work.
- To manage interfaces with the other entities related to the Flowlines.
- To support technically Contract Engineer (and team) for all contractual issues related to flowlines.
- To review, approve or comment the qualification and test programmes (test protocols, implementation of results), and to analyse and approve results, deciding on any changes or complement in the program. (Day-to-day follow-up of qualifications and tests is performed as part of the QA/QC Leader's activity.)
- To follow and control the supply and procurement done by the Contractor(s) and the Vendor(s); to define the QA/QC programme in coordination with the QA/QC Leader and the procurement leader; to define inspection programmes and organise the inspections at the various locations.
- To lead project reviews as requested by COMPANY's referential (HAZOP, HAZID, SPOT, ODR, PTR...) and prepare or participate in Safety / Technical Audits for his discipline.
- To supervise Company Representatives at Vendor's and Contractor's sites and participate to the resolution of any related discipline problem occurring during the procurement and fabrication Phase, to advise on technical deviation requests and to keep updated the documentation related to his discipline.
- To participate in the installation, tests, commissioning and handover, aiding the Installation Leader during all the Offshore phases of the works.
- To ensure adequate and timely reporting to the Senior Project Engineer (progress, concerns), and, as a general manner, anticipates problems, optimizes, improves, offers solutions with regard to his discipline.
- To ensure confidentiality of all the Flowlines documentation produced (whatever its support)
- Responsible for proving exemplary behaviour regarding H3SE rules & requirements and for implementing H3SE rules within his area of responsibility,
- Control and coordinate deliverables installation engineering and work procedures including technical studies performed by the EPCI and its Sub-Contractors,
- Ensure engineering deliverables are timely reviewed and fit for purpose and if needed coordinate technical clarification meeting(s) for resolution of comments/conflicts,
- Coordinate engineering interfaces are dealt with and liaise with other concerned entities from Head Quarters and COMPANY. Participate in engineering constructability reviews and risk assessment studies; and be accountable for follow-up closure of actions,
- Ensure MWS comments are adequately implemented by EPCI Contractor
- Verify the Subsea Connector qualification status (if applicable) and verify engineering, procurement, fabrication and FAT / SIT aligns with the project technical requirements,
- Accountable for coordination with the EPCI Lead Engineer of the pipelay and diving package works readiness review,
- Supervise Company Provided Items loadout (Europe or Qatar) and handover to the EPCI contractor,
- Attend rigid spools fabrication yard, needed, and witness SIT prior to loadout,
- Coordinate visits to Company facilities with EPCI for pre-engineering surveys and area familiarization,
- Attend the EPCI marine spread during the works execution to ensure Technical Requirements are met and H3SE policies are adhere to.
