Service Operations Department is looking for a Field Service Engineer to be located in Doha, Qatar. This is an interesting and challenging opportunity to be part of a dynamic, motivated & competent team and presents growth opportunities in one of the most interesting markets.

The position will be responsible for the Preventive maintenance, repair, fault diagnosis and on-site servicing of Alfa Laval equipment’s, namely decanters, separators and plate heat exchangers. The Service Engineer will be required to work across the region - envisaged travel will be 2- 3 weeks per month.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Your primary tasks will be:

- Commissioning, Service, Audit and troubleshooting of High Speed Separators & Decanters used in Energy, Food & water Industry.
- On
- Site performance audit and re-conditioning of Plate Heat Exchangers
- Training customer crew on operation & maintenance of Alfa Laval equipment
- Troubleshooting of Electrical / PLC controls associated with Alfa Laval equipment
- Executing Field Service jobs through remote guidance
- Conducting equipment assessment at customer sites and creating leads through OneCRM
- Supporting Sales functions in technical solutions and participate in technical forums,

Safety Concious “Think - Act - Behave Attitude”
- Ad hoc participation in service projects

Who you are

We are looking for a Mechanical / Electrical Engineer who has working experience or thorough knowledge of Separators, Decanters and Heat exchangers.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience
- Sound knowledge in Electrical, PLC and Controls
- UAE Driving Licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

It is important that you are flexible, independent, robust and thrive in a very active environment with much travel activity - acting as part of a dynamic team with colleagues around the region.

Further, good communication skills in English, spoken and written, are essential, along with an understanding of Microsoft Office products. Driving license is required.
