Job Title**:Pastry Commis / Pastry Assistant**

Starting Salary**:QAR 2,200 to QAR 2,500** (Based on knowledge and skills) plus FREE transportation and shared accommodation

**Job Overview**: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our pastry team as a Pastry Commis or Pastry Assistant. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a passion for pastry arts, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment. The Pastry Commis/Assistant will work closely with our experienced pastry chefs to assist in the preparation and execution of a variety of high-quality pastries and desserts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately according to recipes.
- Assist in the preparation of doughs, batters, and fillings.
- Support pastry chefs in the baking and finishing of pastries, cakes, and desserts.
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and pastry sheeters.
- Assist in the assembly and plating of desserts with attention to detail and artistic presentation.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance the visual appeal of pastries.
- Ensure that all pastries meet quality standards and adhere to established recipes.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve consistent results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Clean equipment and utensils regularly, following hygiene and safety protocols.
- Actively participate in training sessions to enhance pastry skills and knowledge.
- Seek guidance and feedback from pastry chefs to improve performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Basic understanding of pastry techniques and baking principles.
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing pastry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing desserts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: QAR2,200.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
