**About the Role**:
Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Technical Engineering team as a Tech Cell Engineer Level Il who is responsible to facilitate the review, evaluation and distribution of System related activities and tasks in LPSC/HMCC TechCell.

**Operational**:

- Evaluating the incoming Deferred Defects (DDS), Troubleshooting Recommendations (TSRs) and Tech Cell Support Tasks from external requests (Line, Light and QE etc.).
- Evaluating and highlighting the System Critical Tasks and /or Modifications in the Aircraft Maintenance Pre-Input Packages, while taking into consideration the allocated Turn-Around-Time.
- Evaluating First Time and Complex System Tasks, prior to work acceptance, to ensure sufficient resources, parts, materials and logistics are available.
- Supporting Production Planning (Airbus and Boeing) by providing technical task review feedback / Task card Amendment Request for accomplishment feasibility of Complex Tasks, Major Modifications and/or First-Time tasks, prior to work acceptance, to ensure sufficient resources, parts, materials and logistics are available.
- Coordinating with the Production Planning (Airbus and Boeing) and Engineering (ENGG) for approved ENGG Documents and Parts/Tools availability as well as Equipment serviceability.
- To monitor, analyze and recommend troubleshooting procedures for recurrent critical defects.
- Briefing the Bay / Shift Managers and Supervisors prior to the induction of their respective aircrafts on System DDs/TSRs and any pre-dock-in / pre-arrival critical requirements.
- Highlighting any system difficulties and events affecting previous Maintenance Inputs to the Bay / Shift Managers and Supervisors for any potential risk in the upcoming input.
- Undertaking other duties as reasonably requested by the Senior Manager and [or Manager and / or Supervisor

**Qualifications**:
**About You**:

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.

Essential:

- Minimum of 02 years' experience in Production as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (EN.01) and holds a company authorization for QR Fleet Type Rating
- Degree (B. Eng., BSc in Engineering discipline) or hold an ICAO type Il License.
- General Knowledge of Aircraft Systems, Maintenance Environment constraints.
- Good knowledge of aircraft maintenance data
- Knowledge of Part M and and Part-145 Regulations and functions.
- Project management and execution Excellent decision-making skills
- Ability to take correct decisions keeping in view all the constraints within relatively short period of time.
- Strong-analytical skills to handle complex operational situations.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Efficient in time management and above average ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to work or assist operations team outside normal working hours.
- Excellent communication skill (speak/read/write) in English.
- Good background in using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Good technical report writing skills
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.

Preferred:

- Any additional courses related to Aircraft Maintenance Planning, LEAN Fundamentals, and Safety Management System.
- Proof of involvement in any process improvement exercise within Production
- Ability to communicate technical information to the sections inside technical department.
- Good knowledge of IT System(s) being used in Planning.
