**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cost Estimation and Planning**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP services during the pre-construction phase.
- Analyze architectural and engineering drawings to identify MEP-related requirements and budget accordingly.
- Provide advice on cost management, cost plans, and feasibility studies for MEP elements.

**Tendering Process**:

- Manage the tendering process, including preparing and analyzing tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and contract conditions for MEP works.
- Evaluate contractor bids, negotiate prices, and make recommendations for the selection of contractors.

**Cost Management and Control**:

- Monitor project costs to ensure that the budget is not exceeded.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and forecasts to assess cost performance.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and maintain a cost database for ongoing and completed projects.

**Contract Administration**:

- Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and dispute resolution for MEP works.
- Ensure that all contract requirements are met, and payments are processed according to agreed terms.
- Manage sub-contractors, ensuring that their work aligns with the contract terms and specifications.

**Valuation and Payment**:

- Measure and value completed work to ensure accurate payments to contractors and subcontractors.
- Prepare final accounts and ensure timely settlement of all contract financial matters.

**Risk Management**:

- Identify potential risks related to MEP services and provide advice on mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the negotiation and settlement of disputes, claims, and variations.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of MEP services.
- Provide technical and financial advice to clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure that all MEP works comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Stay updated with industry standards and incorporate them into the project as needed.

**Quantity Surveyor Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in quantity surveying, engineering,, or similar.
- Experience in MEP Estimation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of working with MEP based projects as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- A valid driver's license.
- Great networking abilities.

Pay: From QAR4,000.00 per month
