**Full Description**:
The SimOps Supervisor is an advisor of the SimOps process & is Permit to work controller dedicated to the area under Field Operations responsibility within the SimOps area. They are accountable for:

- Permit to work organization and follow-up
- SimOps dossier follow-up

Position is onshore for SimOps preparation and then Position in rotation five weeks/five weeks offshore with 24 H duty, on various platforms, vessels, based on ongoing operational requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and coordinate the daily meeting permit to work.
- Populate and Maintain the SimOps follow-up dossier
- Ensures full compliance of PTWs with the agreed SimOps matrix before opening PTWs (considering the very last update of activities in the SimOps area)
- Ensures that, prior to starting the works, precautions required from all disciplines (Fields Operations and Drilling/Construction) are implemented
- Ensures adequate handover of ongoing tasks take place at shift or crew change and information is transferred as required between all shifts working in the SimOps area
- Contributes to the Incident Free initiative in the SimOps area by reporting any anomaly, defect, bad practice, lack of equipment or lack of competence
- Acts as ‘On scene’ operator in case of emergency to guide immediate response of the teams at work in case of emergency
- Communicates daily with HSE all activities conducted under PTW

**Experience**:

- Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
- Must have a proven sense of operational responsibility, courage to intervene and challenge
- Previous experience with Production, Drilling, Marine & Construction operations
- Willing to work flexible shifts and extended shifts as required
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Computer literate
- Industry experience: minimum 10 years’ experience in O&G production operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Basic firefighting
- PTW training & JSA awareness
- Confined Space Entry & Rescue, Authorized Gas Tester
- Lifting and rigging training, manual handling training
- Radiation protection awareness
- Hazard & Energy control Logout & Tagout awareness
- Education: higher national diploma or certificate (equivalent to A-levels + 2 years’ study)
