- Verifying patient insurance coverage, including eligibility, deductibles, co-pays, and any prior authorization required.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims to insurance providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Monitor the status of insurance claims, follow up on unpaid or denied claims, and appeal claim denials when necessary
End of Shift Balance
- At the end of the shift the receptionist must account for their daily report status. The cash or credit card transactions must match from the system otherwise, receptionist is responsible for the difference/missing money. They are to drop credit card receipts, money, and cancellation receipts with the ‘Refund Claim Form.’
5.Doctor Cancellation
- After registration the doctor has cancelled the patient’s consultation, the ‘Refund Claim Form’ needs to be entered filled out with reason, doctors’ stamp/signature, mobile, QID and patient signature. Once completed, the receptionist will notify MOD with proof of cancellation consultation.
6. Checking the Code Blue Address
- Checking 383 phone/microphone
