**Department**
ENGINEERING SERVICES

**Primary purpose of job**
Responsible to provide technical services in the area of discipline engineering for all assigned engineering projects and

ad-hoc support, in order to achieve the required technical quality and integrity of work while considering project objectives in

terms of safety, time and cost.

**Experience & Skills**:

- 10 years relevant post graduate experience, with specific discipline design engineering experience of which 6 years in Oil
& Gas industry, with an international consulting company, EPIC contractor, or Operating Company. Possess

comprehensive technical knowledge in both Static and Piping disciplines. Expert level competency and sound experience

are required at least in one of those discipline areas, as below:

- Piping/Equipment Layout, materials, and stress analysis skills
- Static equipment design/engineering skills for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Storage Tanks

etc. for onshore/offshore Oil and Gas industry, including Package Engineering
- Skills / knowledges in followings:

- International codes, Shell DEPs and/or QatarEnergy standards related to his area of expertise.
- o Concept development, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), and EPIC engineering stages during either brownfield or

greenfield projects.
- Technical support to site/plant operation.
- Possess good communication, leadership and presentation skills and be fluent in English.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
