Shadow Teacher

The **Center for People with Disabilities** in Qatar is currently seeking a **dedicated and qualified Shadow Teacher** to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. **Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide individualized classroom support to students with special needs.
- Assist students in completing academic tasks, ensuring understanding and engagement.
- Implement and adapt IEPs according to each student's unique learning profile.
- Support the development of students' social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress, including behavioral and academic data.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, team planning sessions, and case conferences.
- Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders regarding student development and challenges.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and strategies in special education.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with special needs in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and evidence-based interventions.
- Experience with IEP implementation and progress monitoring.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
