Job Description**:Restaurant Kitchen Steward / Cleaner**

Monthly Salary**:QAR 1,500 **plus FREE transportation and shared accommodation

**Job Summary**: The Restaurant Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area of the restaurant. This role ensures that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes are clean and ready for use. The Kitchen Steward works closely with the kitchen staff to support the smooth operation of the kitchen and maintain a high standard of sanitation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Ensure that all items are properly washed, rinsed, and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
- Stack and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including countertops, sinks, and floors.
- Empty and clean trash cans regularly and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances, including stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers.
- Assist with the inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and washing vegetables.
- Assist in the receiving and storage of food deliveries, ensuring proper labeling and rotation of products.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment, such as deep fryers, grills, and ovens, as directed by the kitchen manager.
- Follow all safety and sanitation standards, including wearing appropriate protective clothing and using proper handling techniques for cleaning chemicals.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including those related to food handling and sanitation.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the kitchen manager immediately.
- Participate in regular training sessions on sanitation, hygiene, and safety practices.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a food service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

**Salary**: From QAR1,500.00 per month
