A friendly, vibrant team located in Doha Qatar is looking for an Associate Interior Designer to join on a permanent basis. Contributing to the company’s creative vision in collaboration with the design director and design team. You will likely have extensive experience of working in the role of associate interior designer and have the interest in the history of interior styles, period detailing and antiques, as well as in understanding current trends.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Ø Assisting the design director and senior interior designer with resourcing & costing for potential jobs

Ø Confirming and developing the client design brief

Ø Establishing project deliverables and programming the team workflow

Ø Managing and delivering projects on time, on budget and to the highest standing.

Ø Designing joinery, bespoke furniture, lighting & fixed finishes

Ø Selecting, sourcing and coordinating detailed interior design packages and FF&E specifications for tender

Ø Develop and track project budgets, taking responsibility for financial reporting and reconciliations

Ø Leading site meetings as representative of the client

Ø Leading and mentoring other team members, developing their abilities as designers

Ø Researching and sharing new trends, materials and styles within the industry

Ø Sourcing items and researching new suppliers in line with the sustainability policy

**ASSOCIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NECESSARY**:
You will have proven ability in leading and managing multiple projects, managing both the client and consultant teams, ensuring successful project completion to project, quality and cost targets. You will be confident and competent at working with clients and consultants to establish briefs and fees, show exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Ø At least 6 years post qualification experience of high
- end residential and commercial projects

Ø Good grasp of interior architecture with strengths in FF&E design

Ø Proven track record of leading multiple projects from concept to delivery

Ø Demonstrable team leadership, project management and budgeting skills

Ø Competency in producing and reviewing detailed drawings, schedules and specifications

Ø Exceptional attention to detail and extensive knowledge of materials, finishes and detailing

Ø Ability to present design concepts and ideas with confidence and passion

Ø Experience of liaising with architects, consultants, specialists and suppliers

Ø Proficient using resource & project management software

Ø Proficient in Autocad

Ø Experience user of Microsoft Office

Ø Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Indesign

Ø Excellent communication skills in English ( verbal & written )

Ø Free-hand sketching skills and experience of modelling programs would be welcome

**Salary**: QAR1,000.00 - QAR6,500.00 per month

- Bachelor's (preferred)
