**Position Title**: Electrical Supervisor
**Department**: Maintenance/Engineering
**Reports To**: Maintenance Manager/Project Manager/Engineering Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. This role ensures that all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. The Electrical Supervisor also manages a team of electricians and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Supervise and lead a team of electricians and technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns within the team.
- **Electrical Systems Maintenance**:

- Oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Perform regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- **Project Management**:

- Plan and schedule electrical projects, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for the team.
- Ensure all electrical work is documented and meets regulatory requirements.
- **Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving**:

- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- **Inventory and Resource Management**:

- Maintain inventory of electrical supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure proper utilization of resources and minimize waste.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare and submit reports on project status, maintenance activities, and team performance.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical systems, repairs, and installations.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Certification as a licensed electrician is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
