PROCUREMENT OFFICER
**Qualifications:
- **
1. Bachelors Degree
2. 5-6 years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position
3. Transferrable Visa (RP) is a must.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
**Job Descriptions:
- **
1. Provides administrative support including organizing and managing procurement meeting/ schedules, screening and handling telephone communications, greeting and directing clients, and dealing with administrative problems and inquires as appropriate;
2.. Support internal and external clients by answering inquires regarding contract / LPO provisions, interpretation and modifications;
3. Maintain contract/LPO file and performance tracking system for contracts
4. Solicits and analyses written or telephone quotations
5. Prepares and analyses competitive formal bids and requests for proposal and assists in arranging meetings with vendor representatives and salespeople to establish new sources, products and methods of procurement
6.. Follows-up on orders previously places, solving problems such as late deliver, variation from specifications, incorrect pricing etc.,;
7.. Prepares and maintains accurate records and documentation on all purchases, quotations, correspondence and related follow-up; 17. Prepares month-end reports;
8. Expedites orders and deliveries in line with the procurement schedule;
9. Responds timely and accurately to internal and external queries/ requests on purchasing data and status of material activities;
10. Prepares simple proposals, supporting spreadsheets, comparisons, recommendations, and justifications; assists in bid openings; obtains telephone quotes when indicated;
11. Processes requisitions from departments for equipment and supplies. Provides recommendations as per client needs;
12. Responds timely and accurately to internal and external queries/ requests on purchasing data and status of material activities;
