Housekeeping Supervisor

**Job Brief**:
**Responsibilities**:
- **Team Supervision**:Lead and supervise the housekeeping staff, providing training and support as needed.
- **Quality Control**:Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- **Scheduling**:Create and manage work schedules for the housekeeping team, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
- **Inventory Management**:Oversee inventory of cleaning supplies, and other materials, placing orders as necessary.
- **Guest Interaction**:Address guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- **Compliance**:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, site policies, and industry standards.
- **Reporting**:Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including areas status, maintenance needs, and staff performance.
- **Collaboration**:Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
- **Special Projects**:Lead or participate in special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning tasks as required.
**Job Requirements**:
- **Experience**:Proven experience as a housekeeping supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- **Skills**: Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- **Communication**:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and guests.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
- **Flexibility**:Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Familiarity with housekeeping equipment, cleaning chemicals, and inventory management software.
- **Certification**:BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science) certification is required.
- **CAFM Experience**: Experience with Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems is required.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or management training is a plus.
