**Lead Mechanical Engineer (Static)**
- Location: Doha, Qatar
- Duration: 3 months, extendable

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering and design** as per design basis, project specifications, and client procedures.
- Be familiar with relevant design and analysis software.
- Prepare and/or perform the following deliverables, as per project scope:

- Mechanical Data Sheet
- Equipment Specifications
- Material Requisition for Inquiry and Purchase
- Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) and Tabulation
- Vendor Document Review (VDR)
- Design calculations as per applicable international standards like API 650, API 620, ASME Sec VIII div 1 and 2
- Equipment GAD, Nozzle orientation drawing, detailed fabrication drawing (as applicable in scope)
- Possess working knowledge of SHELL DEP (preferred).
- Have experience in attending progress reviews, design reviews, and clarification meetings with the client.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- A professional degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of **15 years of experience in oil and gas** with a major contractor or consultant.
- Strong background in **design engineering**, including performing conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering.
- QatarEnergy Refinery-related project execution experience is preferred.
- **Note**:_ _We will only consider profiles with a focus on design engineering. Profiles related to maintenance/supervisor, or site-related, are not considered for this position._
