- Promote the School vision and mission within the School community.
- Collaborate with the Head of School to lead and manage the EYFS team effectively.
- To assist with day-to-day running of the School, inclusive of covering classes and specific adminstrative roles.
- Provide guidance and support to EYFS staff in implementing inclusive practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to inclusion within the EYFS setting.
- Support the continuous professional development of EYFS staff in the areas of inclusion and diversity.
- Monitor the progress of all children within the EYFS setting, including those with additional needs.
- Use assessment data to identify any gaps or areas for improvement in provision and practice.
- Work collaboratively with staff to implement targeted interventions and support strategies where necessary.
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders and outside agencies.
Preferable:
- Strong understanding of inclusion principles and best practices in early years education.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a reflective approach to practice.
- An enthusiastic, passionate and inspirational teacher, with experience of teaching EYFS British curriculum.
