Egis’ long history of providing comprehensive engineering, consulting, and project management services makes it a trusted partner for regional governments, investors, and developers. **About the Role** We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning/Scheduling Engineer to join our Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining project schedules for road maintenance and improvement projects across the region. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced planning and scheduling software - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather and analyze project data - Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance - Identify potential delays or conflicts and propose solutions to keep projects on track - Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders and management - Assist in resource allocation and optimization across multiple projects - Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of road maintenance activities - Analyze historical data to improve future planning and scheduling processes - Stay up-to-date with local road regulations and standards in Qatar - Contribute to the development of long-term maintenance strategies for road infrastructure **What do we need from you** - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - 5 years of experience in road operations and maintenance planning - Proficiency in project management and scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project - Strong knowledge of road construction and maintenance processes - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of local road regulations and standards in Qatar is a plus - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously **What's in it for you?
