**Job Description - Food Runner**

**Job Summary**

The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables. This role supports the service team in maintaining smooth operations, enhancing guest satisfaction, and ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Promptly deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables in an accurate and professional manner.
- Ensure all food is presented in accordance with restaurant standards before serving.
- Assist servers by refilling water, clearing empty plates, and resetting tables as required.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and service team to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, tray stands, and dining areas.
- Handle guest inquiries courteously and promptly, referring to servers or supervisors when necessary.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the dining area as per outlet requirements.
- Support the service team during peak hours to ensure smooth guest experience.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Previous experience in a similar role within F&B / hospitality industry preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina to stand and carry trays for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
