About the role:
We are currently recruiting for Communications Specialist for Customer Contact Centre in Doha, Qatar.

As a Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role in facilitating a transparent and engaging flow of information across our international workforce of over 1800 employees spanning four countries. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, manage, and lead a robust communications framework that efficiently and effectively dispatches updates related to new business requirements, existing policies, and fresh initiatives. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high employee engagement and morale levels.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

- List the main functions carried out by the role e.g. operational, managerial, etc.
- Under each accountability-heading, list the responsibilities carried out along with the expected outcome.
- Develop, implement, and oversee a robust and comprehensive communication strategy across all layers of the Customer Contact Centre.
- Work closely with different departments to gather the latest updates and translate these into clear, concise, and engaging communications for our employees.
- Coordinate and facilitate large-scale communications, including virtual and in-person meetings, to ensure all employees are well-informed and feel connected to the company's mission.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and tools, and suggest improvements as necessary.
- Assist in developing and maintaining an internal communication calendar to keep track of scheduled communications and important company events.
- Develop innovative strategies such as recognition programs, interactive sessions, and feedback systems to increase employee engagement and boost morale.

About you:
To be successful in the role, you must have the following qualification and skills:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in a similar communications role for min 4 years or more, preferably in a multinational or large-scale organization.
- Preferred experience in content management system.
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage crises effectively.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Communicator, and Outlook.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to implement change.
- Preferred, working knowledge of photo and video-editing software
