**Mechanical QC Inspector Key Responsibilities: (as follows but not limited to)**
- Control sub contractor Quality team performs/issue the quality requirements for the specific activities.
- Monitoring of adequate implementation and performance of Inspections and Test Plans (ITP) by sub contractor.
- Maintain the record of inspections performed and ensure a properly storage and properly filing associated documentation produced.
- Carryout periodic inspection (surveillance) in the areas where construction works are being carried out to detect possible deviations and establish the appropriate actions for its resolution.
- Monitor the development and progress of the subcontractors quality activities.
- Issue Non-Conformities Report (NCR).
- Maintain upto date inspection record files

**Mechanical QC Inspector Qualification**:

- Degree/ Diploma in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years experience in oil and gas production or processing industries including a proactive attitude for personal safety and the safety of co-workers, and environmentally responsible operations as Inspector or Lead Inspector.
- Minimum required certification of CSWIP, AWS, CWI & SCWI,ASNT Level 2, (UT,RT,PT,MT).
- Knowledge of recognized and generally accepted good engineering practice fregulations and codes (e.g. ASME V, API-1104,ASWSD 1.1)
- Certifications or thorough knowledge of related industry codes & standards such as API-1104, APIRP 2X
- Previous experience managing contract NDT inspectors or QA/QC inspectors.
